Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is a 2008 American action-adventure film directed by Steven Spielberg and the fourth installment in the Indiana Jones franchise. Set during the Cold War, the film follows Indiana Jones as he is coerced to search for a crystal skull with supernatural powers, while also trying to rescue his colleague Professor Oxley from the Soviets.
