Cliffhanger is an American action thriller film that reboots the 1993 classic. Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, the film revolves around Naomi Cooper, a young woman with a traumatic mountaineering past. During a weekend trip in the Dolomites with her father Ray, a seasoned mountaineer, and her sister Sydney, their group is ambushed by kidnappers targeting a billionaire's son in their company. Naomi witnesses the attack, escapes, and is thrust into a fight to rescue her family.
