Joseph Frank Bruce, known professionally as Violent J, is an American rapper, record producer, and professional wrestler. Born on April 28, 1972, in Berkley, Michigan, Violent J is best known as one half of the hip hop duo Insane Clown Posse (ICP), alongside Shaggy 2 Dope. Alongside his musical career, Violent J is a co-founder of the record label Psychopathic Records, which he established with Shaggy 2 Dope and their former manager, Alex Abbiss. He is also a co-founder of the professional wrestling promotion Juggalo Championship Wrestling. Violent J's passion for music and wrestling has made him a prominent figure in both industries.
