Jean Speegle Howard Biography
Jean Speegle Howard (1927–2000) was an American actress known for her appearances in film and television. Born in Duncan, Oklahoma, she began her acting career in the early years and appeared in over 30 television shows, primarily sitcoms. Some notable TV appearances include Married... with Children (1994–1996), Grace Under Fire (1993), and Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997). Howard's film credits include Frontier Woman (1956), where she acted alongside her husband Rance Howard and son Ron Howard. She also had a bit role in Cocoon (1985). Despite her acting career, Howard focused on raising her sons, including Ron and Clint Howard. She passed away in 2000.
