Connie Inge-Lise Nielsen is a Danish actress born on July 3, 1965. She is known for her roles in various films and TV shows. She starred as Lucilla in the 2000 film Gladiator and Queen Hippolyta in the DC Extended Universe, starting with Wonder Woman in 2017. Some of her other notable film appearances include Soldier (1998), Mission to Mars (2000), One Hour Photo (2002), Basic (2003), and Nobody (2021). Nielsen has also had TV roles in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Boss, The Following, I Am the Night, and Close to Me. She began her acting career working alongside her mother in local revues and later expanded her career in Paris, France.
